*********** Writ of Mandamus could be sought for, if proper application is submitted before the authority concerned. In this case, the petitioner straightaway submitted a representation only through Registered Post seeking necessary permission for the conduct of Kabadi Tournament on 07.03.2015 at Melavaraguna Ramapuram, Puthur Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District and thereafter, has come to this Court with the present Writ Petition. This Court is of the view that such kind of attitude should be deprecated. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation and if no action is taken, he can approach this Court. No costs.
