Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 09.06.2014 and pass orders.

ORDER

Mr.N.Manohar, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. According to the petitioner, she made an application before the respondents seeking conversion of the land from Nanja to Dry land on 09.06.2014. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 09.06.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
