O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent herein to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. It appears that the accused, who is the husband of the petitioner expired on 11.11.2020. The offences alleged are under Sections 341 & 323 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Woman Harassment Act, 2002 in Crime No.964 of 2012.

3. Since the accused himself expired on 11.11.2020, nothing survives for further investigation in this case. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the death certificate before the second respondent herein within 15 days from today and the second respondent shall act upon that by verifying the genuineness of all the documents.
