O R D E R
The petitioner seeks to be recognized as a legal heir of her deceased sister. The said sister's husband had predeceased her. They did not have any children. The petitioner had given a representation to the second respondent. That is not sufficient.
2. The petitioner must make an application through online seeking legal heirship certificate in accordance with G.O.(Ms) No.478, dated 29.09.2022 and also pay necessary charges. If such application is filed by the petitioner herein, then the second respondent may issue notice to the petitioner get the list of all her brothers and sisters and if required issue notice to all of them, make necessary enquiries and then 2/5
proceed to do the needful. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of four weeks from the date on which the petitioner makes an application through online for legal heirship certificate. The second respondent may keep the guidelines under G.O.(Ms) No.478 in mind.
3. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
