O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent and his subordinates not to harass the petitioner on the guise of any complaint except through due process of law.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police would submit that based on the complaint given by the husband of one Shahila, a case in Crime No.255 of 2021 has been registered under the caption "woman missing". During the course of enquiry, the second respondent directed the petitioner to appear for enquiry. Except https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.8273 of 2021 that, there was no harassment on the part of the second respondent. He would further submit that during the course of investigation, the missing woman was also found and later, the complaint has been closed as "Action Dropped" on 02.06.2021. Hence, nothing survives for further consideration or adjudication in this petition.

4.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
