ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent police to retrieve the Whatsapp messages which are relevant to the case in Crime No.5 of 2020, by taking action on the petitioner's representation, dated 07.07.2020 and 22.07.2020.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side), on instructions, submits that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner before the respondent, an FIR in Crime No.05 of 2020 was registered as against the accused persons for the offences under Sections 498(A), 406 and 506(1) IPC and the same is pending investigation. 3. Considering the same, the respondent is directed to issue summons to the accused and complete the investigation in Crime No.05 of 2020 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and after considering the request made by the petitioner, file the final report in Crime No.05 of 2020 before the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
