This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent police to transfer the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2017 pending on the file of the fourth respondent to any other competent agency, who is having the power to investigate the same.

2.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that in the above referred First Information Report registered in Crime No.13 of 2017, the fourth respondent police had completed the investigation and filed a final report on 18.10.2019 itself. He would further submit that the final report has been filed against the accused for the offence punishable under Sections 120(b), 406, 420, 468, 471, 474, 475 and 506(i) of I.P.C and the said final report has also been taken on file in C.C.No.1000 of 2019, in which the accused was directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, for hearing on 10.09.2019.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
