ORDER

The petitioner seeking permission for providing Annadhanam during the Chithirai festival has filed this writ petition. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, though the petitioner was providing Annadhanam during the Chithirai festival for several years, this year his request for permission was not granted by the respondent police and therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition. He further submits that the petitioner has also obtained the approval of FSSAI. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the respondents police have permitted the petitioner to provide Annadhanam on certain conditions and the petitioner has also agreed for the said conditions.

4.In view of the above, the respondents police shall permit the petitioner to provide Annadhanam. The petitioner is restricted from using any speakers and mike set during the Annadhanam. 5.The Writ Petition is allowed accordingly. No costs.
