This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to Page No. 1 of 4
give adequate police protection to put up fence in petitioner's property, comprised in Survey No.120/1C2, situated at Sengulam Village, Palaniyapuram Extension, No.2, New Ward, Thirumangalam Town, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's compliant, dated 08.01.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the property, comprised in Survey No.120/1C2, situated at Sengulam Village, Palaniyapuram Extension, No.2, New Ward, Thirumangalam Town, Madurai District. While he tried to put up fence, the adjacent land owners raised objection. Hence, he sent a representation to the respondent for police protection, but the same has not been considered. Hence, he filed this petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl side) for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, they conducted enquiry and closed the same as the dispute is civil in nature.
4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and already the respondent also closed the petition, nothing survives for further Page No. 2 of 4
adjudication. However, if anybody indulges any criminal activities, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondent by lodging specific complaint.
5. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Writ Petition is closed.
