(Order of this Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking an order in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to prevent the illegal sand mining in the river basin of Gundar river, Tiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2014 and close the sand stockyards in Puthupatti and Panaiyur Village in Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner drew the attention of this Court to the copy of the representation dated 19.11.2014 wherein the petitioner stated that the sand stockyards in Puthupatti and Panaiyur Village in Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District should be closed.

4.Having gone through the averments made in the accompanying affidavit and the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, we find it just and reasonable to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner. 5.Accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.11.2014 after conducting enquiry and pass appropriate orders according to law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.is closed.
