This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to follow the judgment rendered in (1998) 1 SCC 226 (Vineet Narain v. Union of India) with regard to giving a prior sanction order to the petitioner for prosecuting the respondents 5 to 7, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 08.07.2020. 2.In the light of the decision taken by this Court today to close all the criminal proceedings that are pending against both the parties, no useful purpose will be served in keeping this writ petition pending and accordingly, this writ petition is closed. 09.12.2024 NCC :
