ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(ii) I.P.C and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998, in Crime No.Not known of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3.The petitioner is aged about 63 years. The defacto complainant is none other than his son. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complaint has been lodged so as to coerce the petitioner, to settle the family property on him. 4.Even though the First Information Report is not registered, apprehension of the petitioner is legitimate and well founded. Taking note of the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner subject to certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sattur and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.
