ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2018 and to make correct tax endorsement in the RC Book of the Spare Mini Bus TN-04/7520 as Rs.3750/- and adjust the excess tax paid in the future tax to be paid by the petitioner forthwith.

2.Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By the consent of both parties, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner is a Mini Bus Operator. His grievance is that the tax endorsement was incorrectly made in his RC Book for the current quarter i.e., 01.04.2018 to 30.06.2018 and excess amount was collected from him. Hence, he prays to adjust the excess amount collected from him in future tax to be paid. In this regard, the petitioner had sent a representation, dated 08.05.2018 to the respondent.

4.Therefore, the respondent is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 08.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

receipt of a copy of this order and if the contention of the petitioner is correct, the tax amount will be adjusted towards the future tax to be paid.

5.With the above direction, this Writ petition stands disposed of.
