This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb and the properties comprised in Survey Nos.173/3A1B1 and 176/3A1B2 situated at Sammanthapuram Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering the representation given by the petitioner dated 05.08.2020 and 13.08.2020.

2.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the second respondent and based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in C.S.R.Nos.422/2020, 398/2020 and 406/2020 and during enquiry, if it is found protection is required, suitable action will be taken.
