ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her husband namely M.Murugan by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. It is alleged that the father was not in favour of performing the marriage of the petitioner on the ground that the marriage, if accepted, would cause disreputation to the family honour. It is also alleged that the third respondent is threatening the petitioner. husband. Under such circumstances, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her husband.
