This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus by directing the respondent No.2 to grant permission to the petitioner for conducting "Sri Valli Thirumanam Nadagam" (Drama Programme) show at the evening hours on 02.08.2018 in the light of Sri Arulmigu Navaneethaperumal swami Temple 99th year Brahmorchava vizha at Vallikurichi Post, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would be suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation for the petitioner dated (*)02.07.2018 and pass orders within a time frame fixed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the said representation would be considered on merits by taking note of the objections made by any rival group.

5. In the light of the submissions made by both parties, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
