ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to make corrections and modification in the pattas and revenue records of Survey Nos.15/1 and 15/2 situated in Koduvilarpatti Village, Periyakulam, Theni District, restoring Patta Nos.444 and 250 respectively and by granting transfer of patta in the name of the legal heirs of the deceased father of the petitioner Late Sadayandi as per the representation dated 24.06.2020.

2. A correspondence signed on 16.09.2020 by the Tahsildar, Theni, has been produced today before this Court, wherein it is seen that enquiry

has been initiated and the first hearing was fixed on 30.09.2020. However, the enquiry is still pending.

3. Considering that the enquiry is pending for over 21⁄2 years, a direction is issued to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
