Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 1st Respondent to register the complaint dated 18.02.2016 preferred by the petitioner for the offences punishable under Section 120B, 498-A and 506II IPC Indian Penal code r/w 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and to take action against the accused persons in accordance with law. ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the first respondent to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 18.02.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The sum and substance of the complaint of the petitioner is that there is a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and her husband. The proposed accused have demanded dowry from the petitioner and threatened to kill her. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents would submit that enquiry has been conducted and closed on 28.03.2016. It is also submitted that a copy of the closure report has been given to the petitioner. 5.As it is represented that closure report has already been given to the petitioner, it is open to her to work out her remedy in the manner known to law, based on the closure report. 6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
