ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the notification No.07/2014 Advertisement No.384 dated 17.03.2014 issued by the 2nd respondent Column 3 Upper age limit to SC/ST candidate and direct the 2nd respondent to accept the petitioner application by giving age concession to the SC/ST category.

2.The impugned notification calling application for appointment to the post of Village Administrative Officer is of the year 2014. The learned counsel for the petitioner submit that in the notification, age relaxation has not been given for the persons belonging to SC/ST candidates and other reserved candidates, who are https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

entitled for reservation for appointment to Government posts. 3.Since the impugned notification is of the year 2014 and the prayer has become infructuous, there is no necessity to keep this writ petition alive.

4.Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Court as and when appropriate occasion arise to challenge the plea taken in the present writ petition. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
