Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in his proceedings in G.O.(Ms) No. 176 Industries (MMCI) Department dated 25.11.2014 and quash the same and to permit to transport rock dust from Tamil Nadu to Kerala through Puliyarai Check Post at Shencottah Taluk, Tirunelveli District, Cumbemmet and Lower Camp Kumuli Check Post, Theni District, Padanthalumudu and Kaliyakkavilai Check Post at Kanyakumari District and Direct the 10th to 12th respondents and his men not to prevent the petitioner at the above said check posts in Tamil Nadu. O R D E R

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents submitted that the case is relating to the transport of rock dust from Tamil Nadu to Kerala. Now, the same was banned by the Government of Tamil Nadu and hence, the prayer in the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

2. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
