ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry in respect of a complaint given by his wife. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the second respondent Police frequently called the petitioner to the police station and harassed him under the guise of enquiry in respect of a family dispute.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the petitioner was enquired only on the basis of a petition given by his wife by name Anitha; after enquiry, a case has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No.64 of 2016 under Sections 498-A and 506(ii) IPC; and the 2nd respondent Police did not cause any harassment to the petitioner.

5.In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, the question of harassment does not arise. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. 6.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
