ORDER

It is a petition seeking direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side).

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioner's son is stated to be an accused in a murder case. The respondent police is not able to trace out the whereabouts of the son of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner was called only to find out the whereabouts of his son.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a Diabetic patient and therefore, he is not in a position to visit the police station quite often. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. It is made clear by the respondent police that there is no harassment or torture by them and they were asking the petitioner to state as to whether he knows the whereabouts of his son. Admittedly, the petitioner is not connected with any offence and there is an undertaking by the respondent that the petitioner will not be harassed and that except on summons, the petitioner would not be called. Recording the said undertaking, this petition is closed.
