PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned list published by the respondent No.3 herein in Roc.No.A1/10129/2018, dated 01.07.2019 quash the same insofar as fixation of seniority of the petitioner below the respondent No.4 herein and consequently direct the respondent No.3 to promote the petitioner to the post of Deputy Tahsildar with effect from the date on which the other listed candidates were promoted with all consequential and monetary benefits. This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned list published by the third respondent dated 01.07.2019 and to quash the same insofar as fixation of seniority of the petitioner below the fourth respondent and consequently direct the third respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Deputy Tahsildar with effect from the date on which the other listed candidates were promoted with all consequential and monetary benefits.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner got promotion to the post of Deputy Tahsildar and she has also sent a letter to the District Collector, Theni stating that she has obtained a Deputy Tahsildar promotion on 21.05.2022 and she did not want to proceed further.
3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 23.12.2022 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No akv
