ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide protection from the fourth respondent and his men for the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members by considering the representation dated 03.01.2023.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based upon the representation made by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken and during the course of enquiry, it was found that it is a civil dispute between the brother and sister. During the course of enquiry, the parties appeared before the enquiry officer and they have given undertaking that they will settle the issue through the civil process. Based upon that undertaking, it was closed.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that there is civil dispute between the parties, the enquiry was closed, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of as infructuous and there is no life threat to the petitioner at the hands of the private respondent.
