ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents 1 to 8 to take action against the 9th respondent and to recover the Thiruppangali Arulmighu Sri Gneeliwaaneshwarar Temple lands.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 8th respondent would submit that actions are initiated under Section 78 of the HR & CE Act.

3. In view of the above, the authorities are directed to complete the Section 78 of the HR & CE enquiry proceedings by following the procedure as contemplated under law and to resume the temple properties within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. (S.M.S., J.) & (A.D.M.C., J.) 04.08.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No am 3/5
