PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.10 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A1 to A4, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 406, 420, 294(b) and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.10 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant namely Anandha Arul Mary lodged a complaint before the respondent police alleging that the petitioners and three others given a false promise to get job in Dindigul Central Co-operative Bank, for which, they received Rs.3,50,000/- from her and thereafter, the defacto complainant questioned about the job, the petitioners and other accused told that they have to receive the amount from other 6 persons for getting job and they would definitely arrange the job. After lapse of 10 months, on 26.02.2023, when the defacto complainant along with other 6 persons met the accused at their house and asked about the job, the petitioners and other accuced refused to return back the money and threatened them. Hence, the complaint.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record, including the First Information Report.

4.It is the case of job rocketing. The petitioners have received a sum of Rs.16,50,000/- from the victims in order to get job in the Central Co-operative Society. Thereafter, they failed to get any job and also refused to return the amount. Since the petitioners have committed serious offence as against the society, the custodial interrogation of the petitioners is very much required. Accordingly, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
