ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide Electricity Connection to the petitioner's house bearing Door No.5/1, in Veemathur Village, Thiruvadimuthur Taluk, Thanjavur District on the basis of petitioner's application dated 07.08.2010 forthwith. 2.The petitioner said to have filed an application seeking electricity connection to his house. After receipt of such application, the respondent by an order dated 03.09.2010 directed the petitioner to file a house tax receipt and ownership certificate obtained from the Village Administrative Officer and some other certificates.

Without producing the above certificates, the petitioner straight away filed the present Writ Petition.

3.Considering the fact that already the application of the petitioner has been considered by the respondent and they have only asked the petitioner to produce some proof regarding ownership of the house, the petitioner is directed to produce the necessary certificates as required by the first respondent in his proceedings dated 03.09.2010 and on producing such certificates the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, for granting service connection in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
