The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to rectify the mistakes in the revenue records and issue patta to the petitioner in the light of the decree of the civil Court dated 30.10.1985 in O.S.No.172 of 1975 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Padmanabhapuram as confirmed in A.S.No.5 of 1989 on the file of the Sub Court, Padmanabhapuram in and by judgment and decree, dated 19.04.1990. 2/5

2. The petitioner has given representations seeking necessary correction of the revenue records on 05.10.2009, 10.05.2010, 16.06.2016 and finally on 13.04.2022.

3. It is seen that even as early as in the year 2018, the fifth respondent has recommended for the corrections to be carried out as requested by the petitioner. Thereafter, according to the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, the foruth respondent has taken up necessary enquiry and has to pass final orders.

4. In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the fourth respondent to pass orders on the last representation of the petitioner, dated 13.04.2022 within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
