ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the third respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2018, regard to conduct of Aadi Festival of Sri Muthupandiyan Temple and 27 associated forest deities situated at Koadalvaavi, Velan Servaikaranpatti, T.Pannapatti post, Dindigul District and thereby provide adequate police protection for the above temple festival to be held on 14.08.2018 and 15.08.2018, based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2018.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.06.2018, is directed to be considered and an order to that effect would be passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if the said representation is pending with the respondents, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.
5.Considering the said circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
