ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the first respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.58 of 2014 within a stipulated time. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after a lapse of one year and five months from the date of registration of the case, the respondent Police did not take any efforts to file a final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the case has been investigated, closed and action dropped, and that the closure report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni, on 13.06.2016.
