Respondent PRAYER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the respondent dated 29/01/2014 in proceedings Na.Ka.No.6800/2013/A4 quash the same as the same is arbitrary and consequently direct the respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner children Nagavarthana, Savithadevi, Lingeswaran, evidencing the fact that they belong to Malaivedan Community.

Counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to file an appeal before the District Collector, Dindigul District within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if papers are otherwise in order, the said Official is directed to entertain the appeal and pass orders on the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
