ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police in connection with the case in Crime No.72 of 2024 for the offence under Section 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) I.P.C., have filed this petition, seeking anticipatory bail. 1/3

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to wordy quarrel, the petitioners and other accused abused the defacto complainant by using filthy language, attacked him with broken beer bottle and also threatened with dire consequences.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submits that it is a case in counter and the petitioners also sustained injuries and were admitted in hospital for four days. Now, both have compromised their issue.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submits that it is a case in counter. The investigation is yet to be completed. However, he fairly submits that the petitioners are not having any previous case.

5. This Court considered the rival submissions made.

6. The occurrence had taken place in view of the Adal padal festival. In this case, the accused are said to have caused injuries on the neck with a broken beer bottle and there is a cut injury.

7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and also considering the grievous injuries, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
