PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, to direct the respondent no.3 to file the final report before the Competent Court in the case in Crime No.17 of 2023 on the file of the 3rd respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent no.3 to file the final report before the competent Court in the case in Crime No.17 of 2023 on the file of the 3rd respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, a case in Crime No.17 of 2023 has been registered for the offences under Sections 120B, 109, 408, 420, 465, 468 and 477A of IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far not filed the final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.

appearing for the respondent police seek one month time to complete the investigation and to file the final report before the concerned Court.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition and recording the above said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that they will complete the investigation and file the final report before the concerned Court within one month, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of one month from the date of this order.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
