[Order of the Court by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Mr.R.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and Mr.V.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials produced.

2. The writ petition has been filed challenging the notice, dated 04.02.2015, issued by the first respondent.

3. It is pertinent to mention that even at the time when the writ petition was entertained, no interim order was granted and notice alone was ordered to be served on the respondents. Subsequently, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on 28.11.2016, 09.01.2017 and thereafter, the matter was adjourned on three occasions by the Division Bench. Subsequently, the matter was placed before the Lok Adalat. In the Lok Adalat, one of the parties was not present and the matter was, therefore, adjourned. Today the matter is listed before this Court. It appears that there was no settlement in the Lok Adalat.

4. In any event, the impugned proceedings is only a show-cause notice issued by the first respondent and by efflux of time, the correctness of the impugned proceedings cannot be tested by this Court in this writ petition. Therefore, the writ petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to workout her remedy before the appropriate forum in accordance with law. No costs.
