ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.62 of 2020 within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in the aforesaid case. Inspite of lapse of one year, no steps was taken to complete the investigation and file a final report.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime No.62 of 2020 is almost completed and prayed for three months time to file a final report.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

5. In view of the above submission, the respondent police is directed to conclude the investigation and file the final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
