ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Certioriarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the appointment order of the first respondent, dated 25.06.2018 and quash the same and to conduct fresh interview under the supervision of the first respondent by giving priority to petitioner's past service in the Valar Kalvi Project.

It is the case of the petitioner that he applied for the post of Xerox Operator in the office of the first respondent and received the interview letter dated 07.06.2018, however, he was not selected. Hence, he has filed the writ petition stating that the appointment has been made without considering his past experience.

3. Mr.K.Samidurai, learned Counsel takes notice for the first respondent and submitted that the selection of the Xerox Operator was made in accordance with the Rules and the selection was also made only on the merit basis.

4. Mr.M.Jeyakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent also reiterated the contention of the learned Counsel appearing for the first respondent.

5. Since the petitioner has not made out any case of malafide, the impugned order cannot be set aside. That apart, the experience of the petitioner and that he had registered with the Employment Exchange are not a criteria for selecting the Xerox Operator in the office of the first respondent. That being the case, we do not find any merit in the writ petition and the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also dismissed.
