respondent to instruct the 3rd respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 01.04.2025 within the period stipulated time.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 3rd respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 01.04.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he received life threat from the respondents no.4 and 5 and thereby, he lodged a complaint dated 01.04.2025 before the 3rd respondent, but no action was taken. Therefore, he has filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 to 3 would submit that based on the Page No. 2 of 5

complaint of the petitioner, they assigned C.S.R.No.141 of 2025 and to that effect, they also issued summon to both the parties for enquiry. They will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the respondents no.4 and 5 inclined to pass orders in this petition.

5. According to the petitioner, the respondents no.4 and 5 have caused life threat to the petitioner and thereby, he approached the 3rd respondent for police protection through a complaint dated 01.04.2025. The 3rd respondent also assigned C.S.R.No.141 of 2025 and the same is under enquiry. Therefore, it is for the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law. In view of the same, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the complaint of the petitioner dated 01.04.2025 and take appropriate action in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to both the parties within a period of one week from the date of this order.

6. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
