Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner had carried out certain contract works for the respondents. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was paid only the principal amount and that too after a gap of several years, the petitioner has all along been seeking payment of the interest. The petitioner had filed a representation dated 07.08.2020 in this regard. The first respondent is directed to take https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.10010 of 2020 a decision on the request made by the petitioner. Such a decision will be taken within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
