ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to delete three names in the petitioner's property tax for Survey No.141/25, which was added in the property tax receipt of the petitioner, unauthorizedly.
2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner submits that the names of his brothers, viz., Periyannan and Vasudevan and his paternal father's son's name, viz., Parthasarathy, have been included in the property tax records concerning the property belonging to the petitioner. Seeking removal of the same, the petitioner submitted a representation to the first respondent dated 14.10.2024. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.10.2024, on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, as well as all other persons, who may be interested in the subject matter, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the respondents to consider the same on its own merits. There shall be no order as to costs.
