ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners' brother by name Jeyasankar @ Johnson is a convict in Crime No.154 of 2009 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thalamuthu Nagar Police Station, Tuticorin District and that in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Criminal Appeal (MD).No.451 of 2010, the conviction imposed by the trial Court against that Jeyasankar @ Johnson has been modified and the respondents Police have been directed to secure the accused to commit him in prison so as to serve out the remaining period of sentence. While so, the petitioners are often harassed by the third respondent Police enquiring the whereabouts of the convict. He would further submit that the petitioners did not know the whereabouts of the convict and if at all any information received by them, they will certainly inform the same to the respondents Police. The said statement is recorded.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that there will not be any unnecessary harassment to the petitioners herein by the third respondent Police. The said statement is recorded.

5.Recording the statements of both the parties, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
