Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 to 5 to take appropriate

proceedings against the illegal and unauthorized constructions of "Pothys" made by the Respondents 6 and 7, over the building bearing Door No.159, West Masi Street, Madurai - 625 001, and demolish the entire constructions, after removing the encroachments made by the Respondents 6 and 7 in the Public Street or any land belonging to the Municipal Corporation or Central or State Governments, so as to preserve the environmental condition, under the provisions of Madurai City Municipal Corporation Act and Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, by considering the representation dated 23.01.2015 made by the Petitioner to the Respondents, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.
