This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus by directing the respondents to give permission and protection to conduct Cricket tournament on 06.07.2018, 07.07.2018 and 08.07.2018 and 09.07.2018 to be conducted at B.Mettur Village, Turaiyur Taluk, Trichy District by considering the representation dated 25.06.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who takes notice for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 25.06.2018. Since no order has been passed on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law today itself i.e on 06.07.2018.

5. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with today itself i.e on 06.07.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
