ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to fix his seniority as a B.T. Assistant from the date of 23.11.2011 onwards, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The petitioner has sent a representation dated 01.03.2017 to the first and second respondents seeking fixation of his seniority as B.T. Assistant from 23.11.2011 onwards and since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the reliefs as stated above. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is given to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner dated 01.03.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to send a copy of the representation dated 01.03.2017 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent forthwith.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
