ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 506(ii) of IPC, Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.Not known of 2022, seek anticipatory bail.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petition enquiry is pending against the petitioners.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the respondent police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

CRL OP(MD). No.9079 of 2022 4.Considering the facts and circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry and if any prima facie made out against the petitioners, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
