Side) For Intervenor : Mr.JOEL PAUL ANTONY, Advocate PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as Accused No.2, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC, in Crime No.32 of 2015, on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on promise to get job to the defacto complainant, the petitioner received a sum of Rs.37,00,000/- and subsequently, he did not get any job. When the same was questioned, the petitioner threatened the defacto complainant with dire consequences.

3. This is the second anticipatory bail petition and the earlier anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD)No.5498 of 2016 has been withdrawn, as this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that this is a case of job racketing and the investigation is pending and the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much necessary to find out the involvement of the petitioner in other cases. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The learned counsel for the Intervenor submitted that at the time of petition enquiry before the respondent police, the

petitioner agreed to re-pay the entire amount. Subsequently, he did not pay the same.

6. Considering the serious nature of allegations, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners and this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
