: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to ensure that the Pupil-Teacher ratio as specified in the schedule is maintained in each school, as per the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 and to deploy the existing surplus Panchayat Union Primary Schools Headmasters in Rajapalayam Union, Virudhunagar District immediately.

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is in the nature of Public Interest Litigation seeking a direction, directing the Panchayat Union Schools to implement the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009. The Writ Petition as such is not maintainable. Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the Hon'ble First Bench by way of Public Interest https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
