Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the electric poles and the service lines erected in the petitioner's land in S.No.50/1A and S.No.56/7A in Senkottai Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is that the first respondent is erecting the pole in the patta land belonging to the petitioner.

2. The learned Standing counsel for the first respondent would submit that no such erection has taken place in the lands belonging to the petitioner. In the counter affidavit, in para No:3, it is also averred as follows:- ."3.I respectfully submit that the electricity pole erected in the public road and not in the patta land belongs to the petitioner. The lines are crossing at the corner of the land. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ i.e.5 feet in the land. The petitioner has submitted this fact in paragraph 3 of the affidavit"

3. Recording the said aspect as well as the submission of the learned standing counsel for the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
