PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime no.609/2020 in the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner herein was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.07.2020 for the alleged offences under Sections 392 r/w.397 of IPC.

2. The petitioner herein is a rowdy element who is collecting mamool in the shops at Trichy. On the date of occurrence the petitioner herein demanded Rs.5000/- from the defacto complainant and when refused to give the petitioner herein showed knife and removed a sum of Rs.1200/- from the defacto complainant and also criminally intimidated him.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender and he is having four previous https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD) No.8758 of 2020 cases of similar nature. If he is released on bail, he will indulge in similar type of offence again.

4. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is a habitual offender and having four previous cases of similar nature, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
