Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct the cultural function viz., Musical Programme during the temple festival of "Muthumalai Ambal Temple", 39-Poovaiya Street, Mukkudal, Searanmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District on 06.07.2018 between 8.00 P.M. to 12.00 A.M., and further direct the respondents to give adequate police protection for the above said programme.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct the cultural function viz., Musical Programme during the temple festival of "Muthumalai Ambal Temple", 39-Poovaiya Street, Mukkudal, Searanmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District on 06.07.2018 between 8.00 P.M. to 12.00 A.M., and further direct the respondents to give adequate police protection for the above said programme. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the prayer in the writ petition seeking to conduct the cultural function viz., Musical Programme during the temple festival of "Muthumalai Ambal Temple", 39-Poovaiya Street, Mukkudal, Searanmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District on 06.07.2018 between 8.00 P.M. to 12.00 A.M., has become infructuous. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
