ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to investigate the offence of theft to the petitioner's two wheeler bearing Registration No. TN 63 AP 2468 Yamaha FZ 16/Petrol vehicle, on the basis of his online complaint, dated 27.02.2022 under the reference ID Number HAI220334402 and to recover the petitioner's vehicle within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that some unknown person stolen the petitioner's two wheeler bearing Registration No. TN 63 AP 2468 Yamaha FZ 16/Petrol vehicle. Till date, the vehicle was not traced out. Hence, the petitioner made a on-line complaint dated 27.02.2022. He would further submit that the said vehicle is running within the limit of Chepet Police Station, Chennai and an unknown person is driving the vehicle by violating the traffic rules. Though the vehicle was available at Chennai, till date the respondent police has not taken any action to trace out the same. W.P.(MD)No.9776 of 2022 respondent to recover the vehicle within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that this Court may issue direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to furnish the adequate papers to the respondent Police and on receipt of the same, the respondent Police is directed to take necessary steps with regard to the complaint of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
